G – Series

Electric motor-driven dosing pumps with plastic or aluminium corrosion-resistant housings and mechanically actuated diaphragms.

The mechanical principle of our Series G™ pumps is based on a variable eccentric design and stroke adjustment, until recently only found on high-use industrial pumps.

Series G™ dosing pumps are extremely flexible and come in a wide selection that withstands most chemicals.

Simple to use and robust:

  • Stroke adjustment via variable cam,
  • Low output pulse rating (no water hammer),
  • Few moving parts makes for longer life,
  • Proportional dosing control,
  • Parts constructed in engineered plastic.

Special features:

  • Compact and light (7-40 kg),
  • Their low output pulse rating eliminates water hammer phenomenon,
  • The automatic flow adjustment on Series G™ (G™ + VARIPULSE®) pumps makes it possible to control proportioning,
  • All mechanical parts are splash lubricated. Only the link rod and wheel/worm screw assembly move. This design reduces heating and enhances pump service life,
  • The housing on some models is constructed in corrosion-resistant glass fibre for enhanced robustness.

To find out more about motor-driven dosing pumps with mechanically actuated diaphragms
One large pump family: Series G™

Technical principle:
The diaphragm is directly and mechanically connected to the mobile coupling on the drive (sliding block). The centre of the diaphragm moves according to the adjusted stroke length. The outer rim provides the seal.

Performances :

  • Flow rates up to 1200 l/h,
  • Pressures up to 200 bar.

Recommendations: :

Electronically controlled or electric motor-driven pumps with mechanically actuated diaphragms are recommended for use with low discharge pressures.
In 1994 Milton Roy made the decision to overhaul its range of electrically actuated dosing pumps used in, water and wastewater treatment. The resulting new series of pumps was dubbed Series G™.

Three models were necessary to build an extensive range :
Development focused on the smallest and largest models: Dosapro Milton Roy was charged with developing the small G™A, pumps constructed entirely of injected engineered plastic; while Milton Roy Flow Control was assigned the task of developing the large G™B, pumps with their moulded aluminium housings. Both pump types were released in 1996. A third pump already in use was added to fill the gap until 2001 when Dosapro Milton Roy came out with an intermediate model.

The G™M range:, its brand new motor driven mechanically actuated Diaphragm Dosing Pump, for processes and water treatment applications. This “semi-industrial” metal pump is ideal for your usual low flow rate needs in environment unfavourable to plastic products. It offers multiplexing capacities and can be fitted out with a servomotor or a stroke counter. Its flow rates from 2,25 l/h to 500 l/h and its pressures from 5 to 12 bar,fit with a large range of your processes, surface treatment and water treatments needs. Its low maintenance need allows to fulfil, for example, developing markets requirements where a product more resistant than a plastic one is needed. As the “industrial” PRIMEROYAL® dosing pump model – 30 000 l/h, 700 bar – the G™M range is built on a patented and very simple variable eccentric drive mechanism principle.

Main technical characteristics:

  • Flow rate up to 500 l/h,
  • Pressure up to 12 bar,
  • Heterogeneous multiplexing capacities,
  • Stroke adjustment by variable eccentric ensuring a flow with low pulsing,
  • Maximum suction lift: 4 m water,
  • High vacuum suction lift option: 9 m water,
  • Electric servomotor and stroke counter options,
  • Liquid ends available: PP, PVDF, 316 S.S., high viscosity, slurries, mixed, fluorinated liquid.
