GAS FILTRATION PRODUCTS

Kelburn Engineering Limited produces complete range of gas filtration and separation products. The Kelburn coalescing filter is highly efficient for both solid particle and liquid droplet removal from gas flow.

OPERATION

Solid particle and liquid droplets entrained within the gas flow enter into the lower chamber of the vessel, where large bulk contaminants drop out of the gas stream. The gas then flows into the coalescer filter elements. It is within the filter elements that coalescence of the entrained liquid droplets takes place, through impaction on the fine filter media fibres. The droplets agglomerate and due to their increased mass, drain through the filter element to the vessel drain outlet for removal.

Solid particles are captured with the filter elements, leaving clean dry gas to exit through the vessel outlet.

PERFOMANCE

These highly efficient separation / filtration systems are available with solid particle and liquid droplet removal efficiencies down to 0.3 microns.
Other filtration ratings to suit customer specifications are available, typically 1.0, 2.0, 5.0 & 10.0 micron.
