VANTAGE Plant Engineering Products

VANTAGE Plant Engineering (VPE) products are available separately or as part of an integrated environment to fulfil all Plant Engineering requirements.

VPE P&ID is an elegant, powerful and scalable engineering solution for creating and storing engineering content in the context of the P&ID. It employs an impressive graphical editor, available on the familiar major industry platforms of Microstation and AutoCAD.

VPE Workbench is a best-practice information and workflow management environment for all the major engineering disciplines: process, instrumentation, electrical, piping and mechanical. It ensures that engineering data consumers are presented with a single, consistent source of engineering data relevant to each engineering discipline.
The electrical application deals with power distribution, equipment logical design, cable definition, sizing routing and drumming. The data is then used in the generation of electrical equipment datasheets, local schedule reports and CAD drawings for schematics and single-line diagrams.
The instrument application deals with instrument logical design, control loops, cable definition and routing. The data is then used in the generation of instrument datasheets (individually or by requisition/specification) and CAD drawings for instrument loops and I/O schematics reports.
The mechanical application deals with detailed equipment design, drive trains, spares, inspection andcivil details. The data is then used in the generation of mechanical equipment datasheets, and package plant reports.
The process application deals with equipment, pipeline and instrument logical design from a perspective of the medium flowing through the plant. The instrument design in this case is limited to those items thathave flow of material through them or are connected off-line to the flow.
The data is then used in the generation of process equipment datasheets, instrument datasheets and equipment and pipeline reports.
