VPRM Workbench is an integrated project-engineering environment for the management of materials and the executive-level control of costs and monitoring of progress throughout all project processes. The VPRM Workbench offers a best-practice, viable and proven alternative to in-house and competitor systems addressing the main business areas of:

Materials Management: control of all major equipment, tagged items and bulk materials, throughout their lifecycle, from initial identification through procurement to construction - aimed at ensuring that the right material is delivered to the right place at the right time, and providing the timely receipt of approved vendor documentation to support the detailed design programme.

Project Controls: identification of the project deliverables in accordance with the project plan. Managers can monitor and control progress and productivity for all activities within the design office; control all cost centers such as manpower, materials and construction by monitoring forecast/actual figures against budgets - all complete with effective change control.

Project Management: compared with traditional reviewing of detailed reports and holding time-consuming meetings with managers and lead engineers, managers can now concentrate on key issues. At no man-hour cost, the end-user's detailed data input is automatically collated and presented in a high-level format suitable for management to review and act upon.

Estimating: in addition to executing successful projects, a company needs to concentrate on winning new contracts. Selected project data is captured in an enterprise-wide estimating database to provide accurate figures for use as the basis for proposal work.
