Flaresim is a program designed to assist professional engineers in the evaluation of thermal radiation and noise from flare systems. Flaresim also evaluates the temperatures of surfaces exposed to thermal radiation from flare systems.

The program can analyze complex systems with multiple flare tips on multiple flare stacks. Pipe flares, sonic flares and liquid burners may modeled using a range of algorithms including those recommended by the API guidelines for flare system design.

Flaresim has a user friendly interface that follows standard Windows conventions. Program actions are controlled by menu and toolbar options. Data entry is through a series of data views controlled from an overall summary view. Context sensitive help is available at all points to assist the user in the use of the program and the selection of appropriate design parameters.

Output from the Flaresim program is highly customizable – you can select summary or detailed output. The reports include graphical output where appropriate.

Flaresim is designed to run under Windows 2000 and XP but will also run under some earlier versions of Windows. Licensing is either standalone controlled by a security key or network controlled by a license server.
